Whats The Truth
I watched the American Gangster movie and it was great. However I know it has been greatly dramatized as movies based on real events are. What i can't figure out as a guy who lived in New York my whole life is why I never heard of Frank Lucas before the movie came out. According to the movie he was the greatest gangster that ever lived. Everyone has heard of Nicky Barnes, Guy Fisher, AZ, Rich Porter and Alpo the original gangsters of Harlem but no Frank. Nicky Barnes and family members of Bumpy Johnson both deny the events of Franks life. Anybody with credible info on Frank can contact me at rallow718@aim.com
